360Monster Preview

Posted at 14:53 GMT by Chris :: Comments: 5
Relatively new Xbox 360 gaming site 360Monster.com have a nice preview of Alan Wake on their site. They basically outline what we already know so far, and like so many other previews out there, they mention the impressive graphical wonders that we can see in the game so far.

At the moment the highlight of the game is the graphical touches. From the rendered footage that was shown at E3 we can see the high quality graphical touches applied to the main character as well as the environments he is placed in. What is also impressive about the graphics within Alan Wake is the top quality effects used for the weather; the lighting is near enough perfect and the haze of the fog is brilliantly captured to portray the mood of the game.

Welcome to AlanWakeCentral.com

Posted at 19:27 GMT by Chris :: Comments: 17
Hello everyone!

Welcome to the site. We're currently the newest Alan Wake fansite on the net, and we're hoping to become one of the biggest in the future. We don't have all our content finished yet, but it should all be done by the weekend, so keep checking back to see what's new on the site.

One thing we have done is uploaded both of the current Alan Wake teaser videos (both low res and high res) so forget waiting in queues on large file hosting websites, you can download directly from us with no queues. Ever.
Screenshots of the game will be added soon, along with obviously more content on the game, and we have a poll that everyone can vote in.
In the future we'll also have a style selector for the site, meaning you'll be able to see the site in different colours other than the brown we have at the moment.

Please also check out our Alan Wake forums, obviously they aren't very active at the moment since we've just started up, so get posting and we'll hopefully have a great community very soon.

Enjoy the site and if you have any suggestions or feedback be sure to tell us in the forums or via the contact form.
