YouGamers Remedy Interview: Part 1

Posted at 22:28 GMT by Chris :: Comments: 0
YouGamers have been lucky enough to grab a nice interview with Remedy Interactive. They were invited to Remedy's offices in Finland to sit down with Markus Mäki and Petri Järvilehto. The interview is being split up into a number of parts in the style of an article, and we'd imagine they will release a new part every month or so.

In the interview they talk about how things have changed after the success of the Max Payne games, and touch on a bit about Alan Wake. It's an interesting read, so head on over to YouGamers to read part 1 of a series of interviews with Remedy, Life After Success

Website Revamp This Month

Posted at 15:29 GMT by Chris :: Comments: 0
This is just a short post to let you know that this month I'm making an effort to revamp the site. This is both in the way of coding the backend of the custom CMS, as well as hopefully a new layout. This current layout is borrowed from one of my other sites, and whilst keeping all my sites linked, they need better, more relevant layouts. Bear in mind I have 2, possibly 3 sites to redo, so I should add "hopefully" to the end of the title in case it doesn't get done, but it should do. Downloads will also be integrated again, a necessary upgrade brought about a lot of changes which would require a fair bit of work to get integrated, hence why they aren't at the moment. But once the CMS is done we'll be using our own system.

Additionally, once I've finished the new layout, I'll work on skinning our rather inactive forums. I'm hoping to entice a few more of you to post there - while I'm aware there isn't much to talk about at the moment, we started off pretty well but then interest died out for the game. Once there's a bit more info out I'm sure you'll be asking all sorts of questions, but we'll see how it goes. I don't really want to close them, but if they aren't used I might as well.

So that's all for now. It'll be pretty obvious when I have updated the site, so I'll say no more until such time.
