Redesign Is Live

Posted at 22:04 GMT by Chris :: Comments: 0
What you are now looking at is our redesign of alanwake.co.uk. We've gone for a more dark and grungy look, to better suit the theme of the game.

If the site is looking a little out of place with images and such not aligning themselves correctly, or strange colours are showing, please first hard refresh your browser (usually ctrl + F5), if that doesn't work then try clearing your cache. We hope to soon have our forums skinned in a similar style to keep the theme of the site consistent.

As well as a brand new layout, I've also made a few improvements to the RSS feed so it now shows the news post as well, instead of just the title as it functioned before. We think we've squashed all the bugs we've found, but if you do spot something a little strange, please let us know in the comments. Remember to tell us what browser and OS you're using too. The layout uses valid xHTML and CSS, and is tableless. As such it should be cross compatible with all browsers on the majority of operating systems.

Hope you all like the new look!

New Alan Wake screenies

Posted at 14:41 GMT by Chris :: Comments: 0
Well, turns out I never had time to do the website revamp I talked about last month, but not to worry, that can wait longer, for now we have some lovely new screens to look at. Technically they aren't actually new because they're all development shots from last year. There are a few we've never seen before, while others are in a higher resolution, and unwatermarked version of others we've posted about. Click the thumbs below for the full versions.

YouGamers Remedy Interview: Part 2

Posted at 21:04 GMT by Chris :: Comments: 0
The second part of YouGamers series of interviews relating to Remedy Interactive and Alan Wake is now up on their website. This second part mainly focuses on their current project which of course is Alan Wake.

Before we started our chat, Petri Järvilehto, Markus Mäki and Sam Lake took us through a real-time demonstration of where they were up to with their next project: the massively anticipated Alan Wake. To be correct though, the work that they showed us was at least 6 months old and many improvements have been made since then - not that it seemed to need much to our eyes.

Head on over to YouGamers for And Now For Something New.
